Tracy began her musical journey in her hometown of Evergreen, Alabama at a very young age when she began playing the saxophone. Inspired by jazz artists like Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, and David Sanborn, she decided to further her experience by getting her degree in saxophone with an emphasis in jazz. As a saxophonist, Tracy has shared the stage with artists such as Wynton Marslis, Arturo Sandoval, Dizzy Gillespie, and Bela Fleck. In college she also discovered her passion for writing poetry. She eventually taught herself guitar and piano and decided to start putting those words to music. She then knew that combining her love of both music and writing would become the ultimate goal and her life's direction.

Tracy has released two independent CD's that she wrote, produced, arranged, and played most of the instruments on. Now she's in Nashville, TN pursuing her songwriting career full force!!
